Raphtalia is a demi-human of the Tanuki race and the first companion of the Shield Hero, Naofumi Iwatani. Once a timid slave, she quickly grows into a brave warrior, wielding a sword with great skill and fighting to protect those she loves. Despite the hardships of her past, she remains kind and deeply loyal, especially towards Naofumi. Her journey from a frightened child to a formidable swordswoman is a testament to her strength, resilience, and unwavering sense of justice.
